The Nizamuddin Area is a unique precinct which is rich in architecture, art, music, religion, and Mughal aesthetics. The area summarizes seven centuries of Delhi and still retains its flavor. This is the site of first Mughal city; place for pilgrimage; resting place of a highly revered Sufi saint and keeping his teachings alive; the birthplace of the world-famous qawaali music; a dormitory of imperial tombs; living cultural life in its lanes and neighbourhoods amongst its many facets.
